Welcome to Station House. We hope you really enjoy your stay and please don’t hesitate contacting us if you have any questions at all or if we can help in anyway at all.
Access
Enter the Fire Station via the Black Door under the Black Canvas. To unlock this door, simply touch the YALE icon at the top of the screen and enter the combination ACCESS code of 939939 followed by the TICK. Once inside, just turn the switch to lock the door. To lock this door when you’re leaving, please just push the YALE icon on top of the screen until you hear it lock.
Go up the stairs and head around to your right through the foyer. You’ll see a combination lock on the door with STATION HOUSE Airbnb on it. The access code for this door is 3939.
To lock a combination lock door, close the door and place the back of your hand briefly onto the pad.
PLEASE ENSURE THE DOWNSTAIRS DOOR IS LOCKED WHEN YOU USE IT.
At night the automatic gates close at 9pm. If you return after 9, please use code 1391 to enter. The gates open again automatically at 6pm.

TV - Family Room
Turn the TV On / Off using the Panasonic Remote. Then start using the Sky TV remote. To watch Netflix, simply select the Netflix button on the Panasonic Remote
Parking
Station House is located in the Old Central Fire Station, 139 Guyton Street. Please enter behind the Old Fire Station coming off Guyton Street. After you enter your carpark is the first on your left (Apartment 1) and is for your sole use.
TV – Bedroom
Just use the TV remote provided. Sky TV isn’t available in the Bedroom
Fire Alarm
If the FIRE ALARM should sound evacuate the building immediately. Please assemble in the courtyard downstairs. If Brian and I aren’t there, can you please call 111 if you can smell smoke see a fire. Alternatively call Devon Electrical on 027 340 0405 or 06 344 5316 who will reset the alarm.
Alexa / Sonos
We’ve provided you with a Sonos One speaker. SONOS connects through the wifi system, simply download the SONOS app and enjoy.

Rubbish
We have two Green Wheelie bins that are positioned against the building when you enter the complex off Guyton Street. Please feel free to use at your discretion. If you’d prefer to recycle, there is a Re-Cycling Centre in Maria Place. Just head down Wilson Street and take your first right. It’s 100 metres down the road on your left.
Hospital
In case of emergency dial 111. The closes A&E / Hospital is only a 3 minute drive or 10 minute walk. 100 Heads Road – 06 348 1234
A first Aid Kit is located in the Bathroom.
Shopping
The closes supermarket is Countdown. Go along Wilson Street towards to river, at the end of the road turn left and the supermarket is on your Left. Station House in only one block away from Whanganui’s main street (Victoria Avenue), here you will find an array of wonderful boutique shops or for something a little closer to home, you could pop into our La Station Design Store which is positioned on the ground floor of the Fire Station.
